• Judgment Docket Maintenance: We maintain a “judgment docket” where orders from the district court concerning real property are entered, providing a transparent record of legal proceedings affecting property ownership.
• Public Records Access: Committed to transparency, we maintain a list of fees for copying documents classified as “open records,” ensuring public access while adhering to statutory guidelines.
• Compliance & Oversight: Subject to annual audits by the State Auditor and Inspector, our office operates under stringent oversight to maintain accuracy and accountability in all functions.
• Document Filing Protocol: While we provide access to necessary forms as required by the Attorney General, our office does not supply blank forms nor assist in completing forms to be recorded and filed, ensuring impartiality and adherence to legal standards.
